I had a very simple protocol app created many years ago in aspmaker which I have now rebuilt in phpmaker. I migrated the entire old protocol table (1000000 rows) with phpmaker and everything is very fast. many of these fields had attachments (we're talking about 500,000 attachments) which when I copied into the files folder of my project the app slowed down by a few seconds. everything works, even the attachments, but it's slowed down. if I empty the files folder everything goes very quickly. Why? is there a solution to this?

I think this has nothing to do with PHPMaker. It seems this is related to your server machine.
