Compatibility older Version ASP.Net Maker with .Net 8.x

Hi there,

I was wondering if ASP.Net Maker version 2023 is compatibel with .Net 8?

The recommended .Net version for ASP.Net Maker 2023 was .Net 7.x, however this version is running out of support.

In general I am wondering if the latest .Net versions are always backwards compatible with older ASAP.Net Maker versions?

It may work but there is no guaranteed. You should either stick with .NET 7 or upgrade to ASP.NET Maker 2024 if you want to use .NET 8.
