Is it possible to hide a extendend field from the ew-extended-search containe but still have the field visable within the table

Simply disable Ext. Search option and enable List option under Fields setup -> List Page, then re-generate ALL the script files again.

Sorry foget to say, via code some how as only want to hide it for a set user level.

You may use Custom Templates.
