The following is always popping up during my password change despite the password being succesfully changed.

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

It is difficult to guess what went wrong with your project. You may want to enable debug mode (Tools -> Advanced Settings -> Debug) to see if it gives you any hints.

If you are registered user, you should send your project to the support email for quicker resolution.
