Many times, we have records, related to records, related to records through three or more master/detail levels. However, PHPMaker only supports a single preview level. You can expand a row in list view to view its detail tables, but there's no way to further expand each detail table to view records in sub-detail tables. Instead, you have to navigate to a separate master/detail page.

This constant switching to different pages to view detail records is slow and inefficient. We should be able to view related data instantly via AJAX magic, not have to navigate to another page, wait for the page to load, etc.... It also resuilts in a loss of context. In a nested detail view, you can view the entire hierarchy, starting from the top-level master table, down through each subsequent level. It makes it more clear and obvious to the user, since the entire hierarchy is visible on a single page, rather than being spread across multiple pages.

As a 10+ years PHPMaker user on 20+ projects, this is a must have feature +1

seems like tree for nested tables and pages.

I vote for this future.

I want to see detail of a detail. I Means

Master->Detail->Detail ...

Currently I can only open upto first level.

Please make it multi level in future releases.
