Dev and Prod

Since v 2021 has production and development config files that can/should be edited manually, is it possible to provide a screen to edit the values in the config files so they can be generated and not be overwritten with every generation process?
And speaking of generating the output files; can you introduce a feature where I have the choice to generate development files or production files or even both to two separate directories?

Note this existing advanced setting, from Tools -> Advanced Settings in the help file:

Generate production config file - Whether to generate the config.production.php. Enable this setting if you have updated the config.production.php manually and you do want it to be overwritten by later generation.
