Euro currency not displayed (v2016)

Locally build application displays currency sign € properly.
When I deployed application on IIS (2012 R2), only $ is displayed. Multilanguage is enabled, Slovenian xml is ok. On IIS -> Net. Globalization-> culture and culture UI is set to Slovenian. Does anybody have similar problems?
