linked tables

How do I change the connection to the database of a table that I create in the linked tables option?

update from database in the general options, but these tables are not updated and new fields do not appear.

Right click "Add link tables"
Select you linked database
Click "Synchronize" <-- here you can change the connection string for the linked database
