Any issue separating DB from web?

Is there any issue separating the Database server from the web server? Any localhost database connections that Phpmaker uses or will it work if I just put the files on another server?

There is no issue so far when I separate the Database server from the web server. As long as you've already setup the Database connection properly, then you should be able to connect your web app to the Database in another/different machine.
