Create a "sub" admin userlevel

Postby RichE » Fri Apr 27, 2012 8:11 pm

create your userlevel as follows the normal way via your web page:

-------------------------------
userlevelid = 10
userlevelname = subadmin
-------------------------------

now set the permissions for the pages that you want that level to have access to.

now open aspfn9.asp and find the following section:

---------------------------------------
' Table Permission Loading event
Sub TablePermission_Loading()

'Response.Write "Table Permission Loading: " & CurrentUserLevelID & "<br>"

End Sub
--------------------------------------

and add the following code so it look like this:

----------------------------------------
' Table Permission Loading event
Sub TablePermission_Loading()

if CurrentUserLevelID = 10 then
CurrentUserLevelID = -1
End if

End Sub
---------------------------------------

save the file and upload to your web server, and that user level can now see ALL records but can only access the pages as specified in the group level 10

hope that helps someone
