Menu_Rendering to new target

Postby yeehoy » Thu Nov 30, 2017 10:15 am

In my ASPM 2017 I used to have a new menu option for help opening to a new target window like this:

Menu.AddMenuItem 90000, "mi_help", "Online Help", "help/ePortalHelp.html", -1, "", "_help", IsLoggedIn(), False, False

How do I do this in ASPM 2018? Seems like the parameters are different and the ASPM Help example doesn't explain what the parameters are.

Thanks.../Yee

Use the MenuItem_Adding server event to add the target. For example:

If Item.Text = "Online Help" Then
Item.Target = "_blank"
End If

Thanks.

But now I have another problem. Even though I have the IsLoggedIn() there, it still shows the menu option "Online Help" in the Navbar even before I logged in to the system.

Adjust your argument accordingly (.AddMeuItem(id, name, text, url, parentid, IsLoggedIn(), isHeader, isCustomUrl, icon, label)
